About Literary Road

Connecting authors, books and communities.

Literary Road began with a simple belief: stories have the power to heal, inspire and bring us together — and children should get to meet the people who write them.

What we do

We give children’s authors one home for their books, their story and their classroom resources. Libraries, schools and readers use it to find the right author, discover their books and contact the author directly — for library copies, visits or anything else.

Why it matters

An author visit can be the day a reluctant reader decides books are for them. We want to make those days easier to plan and easier to find.

Who is behind it

Literary Road was founded by an author and school librarian who knows both sides of an author visit. Questions? Contact us.

How it works

Simple for everyone — no middleman, no hidden fees.

Authors share their work

Each author builds a profile with their story, books, videos and teaching resources.

Readers discover

Libraries, schools and families search by age, theme or place, and buy books from the store the author chose.

Connections happen

One short form sends a request straight to the author — for library copies, a visit or anything else.
